Bill Gremillion Memorial Radio Club (BGMRC) is an amateur radio club located in Newnan, GA. The purpose of the BGMRC is to advance general interest and knowledge of amateur radio, promote cooperation and exchange of information among radio amateurs in Coweta County and surrounding areas, and to provide public service support for community activities.

Coweta hams are requested to help with training and on-air operating at the Jamboree on the Air at Mcintosh Reserve Park near Whitesburg, Saturday October 18. Contact for more information.

Meetings and Nets

The BGMRC holds its regular meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month (or as otherwise scheduled) at the Coweta County Public Safety Training Center, 473 Greison Trail in Newnan. Meeting reports/minutes can be found here.

The weekly Fayette-Coweta ARES net is held Tuesday nights at 2100 hours local time on the KK4GQ 145.21 repeater in conjunction with the Fayette County ARC and other local radio clubs, and is linked to repeaters in Fayette, Coweta and other neighboring counties. This net can also be joined via the N4OME 147.165 repeater in Madras, just north of Newnan. This repeater has a positive offset of 600 KHz, and a 131.8 PL tone.

The WX4PTC severe weather net, when operating, can be contacted using the N4OME repeater, which is at 147.165+ and has a 131.8 PL.
